The book's in the same large hardcover format. Just like the volume earlier, Velocity, it has 64 pages only. The front and back hardcovers are as thick as all the pages within.
Content is split into four parts with art for books, animation, games and theme parks.
Book covers are the beautiful sophisticated sci-fi paintings that we've come to expect from Stephan Martiniere.
What's more interesting, or unexpected, are other artworks that aren't related to sci-fi. There are two pages from Star Wars: Visionaries graphic novel that's basically comic style art. The section on animation has many cartoon style character designs for animated series. He also designed for theme parks and rides. One of which was the Dubai Project which is like a wonderland of retail and entertainment park with world famous landmarks squeezed in.
The video game concepts are mostly environment art with the occasional monster designs from Blacksite: Area 51.
Trajectory showcases great work. I wished there were more pages.
